MCO Airport Changes + 🚢 Treasure Comes Home!

Hey there!

Whew, this has been a crazy busy week! But now that I sit down to recap, it's like I don't know where to even start. The holiday season is off, and everything everywhere is pretty much festive and has something new. Epcot will start Thanksgiving weekend, and Universal will start next week on the 22nd. But if you're planning to visit from now to the end of the year, just know there is something new and fun to see, do, or eat around every corner.

We had three media events in the past few days for Jollywood Nights, Very Merry Christmas Party and to see Disney's new ship sail into port. We've got a complete recap of all of these on this week's podcast and that's a great way to hear. full review of why we LOVED Jollywood Nights this year, why Very Merry is so special, and why I woke up at 3 in the morning and was happy about it.

But in summary, the short version is that all of the concerns we had about the new holiday party Jollywood Nights have been fixed. This year Disney is going all in on this party, and it is SO. GOOD. The entertainment, characters, and food, along with the more sophisticated adult vibes are impeccable. Just so impressed with how much they improved this event and really listened to guest feedback. Also, Holidays in Hollywood is possibly the best show Disney has created in years.

Make sure to check out this week's podcast to hear all the details and why we loved it, along with behind-the-scenes info on all the media events. You can listen on Apple, Spotify, or any podcast app.

Let's dive in to this week's news!

This Week's News

The Disney Treasure Comes Home: Tuesday we got to watch as Disney Cruise Line's newest ship sailed into port for the first time at sunrise while Mickey and Minnie cheered and waved it home. It was pure magic! You can check out the moment here, and listen to all the new ship horns here. The Treasure will be sailing to NYC for the christening, and then will head back down here for the first media preview cruise on Dec. 9th! So excited for that! They will be live-streaming the christening as well, details are here.

Orlando Airport Updates: If you fly into MCO Orlando you'll be excited to know they've added some great tools to help travelers navigate the very busy airport. Now on their new website and app, you have access to new tools including real-time security wait times! If you travel often its probably worth downloading their app but a lot is also on their site which is here, and some of the updates include:

  • Quick Navigation: The app provides indoor maps with turn-by-turn directions, helping you get around the airport without hassle.

  • Real-Time Updates: Get live updates on security wait times and flight status so you can plan your time better.

  • Parking Information: Easily check parking availability and access reserved parking options right from the app.

Amazon Outfit Links: I had a lot of requests for links to some of the festive outfits I wore the past few days. It's easier to share those here since Insta doesn't let me share more than one link at a time. (These are affiliate links)
